Hello!
I've been an LPN for the last 10 years at a local nursing home, which I absolutely love helping and taking care of the people there. Over the years I've built a lot of friendships with patients and the stories they have shared have really inspired me. So last year I started to seriously think about becoming an RN. I wanted to be able to do more for the people that I've come to care a lot about, so becoming an RN made a lot of sense to me. At first I wasn't sure I could handle being a single mom with 3 kids, working full-time, and going back to school. Then I found an LPN to RN bridge program that allows me to still be the same mom with the same job while I get the education and career training I need to become an RN. Unfortunately I'm not able to do it all on my own because of the costs of education in addition to the cost of raising my children. Then I heard about Payitforwardedu.org who helps students like me who can't afford the entire academic program because I'm not receiving any financial aid, grants, or any other kind of financial assistance. I really need help with covering the cost of my testing fees and with your donations I won’t be able to pay for the tests that I need to pass in order to become an RN.
